The Memorial Day Weekend event on Sunday, May 24th, at Know Grove Books and more… in Honesdale, PA, was special, as for the first time (but not the last… 😉) I shared an event with other local authors.

Having Bob Eckstein, NY Times bestselling author, cartoonist, award-winning illustrator and writer, and the artist who created the cover art of my book, Karina: One Woman’s Journey from Fear to Freedom, in that circle, made it even more memorable.

John Harvey has this beautiful, calm energy about him, so I had to grab one of his books to learn how connecting with nature can bring more of that into my life.

I made connections with new readers.

Taino, my assistant for the day, fulfilled his duties perfectly (pictures are the proof). I loved the special time with him. Those who have adult children can probably relate to that. The older they get, the more you treasure the little time you spend with them.
