Welcome to My World of Words!

Hi, I’m Karina—a writer, a mother, a wife, and a woman continuously evolving. The order of those roles shifts depending on the day, the mood, and the moment.

My family is at the heart of my life. I live with my husband and our four children in a quiet town in Pennsylvania, nestled among trees and nature. Our dog Reno joined us a few years ago and quickly claimed a central spot in our lives. Parenting brings me a lot of joy, but also challenges, worries, and lessons I never saw coming. (Let’s be honest here, being a parent is not an easy job!)

Outside of family life, I love reading, yoga, walks with Reno, good food, music, and all forms of art. I deeply value friendship and make space to nurture the people I care about.

A few years ago, everything changed. My twins’ special needs led me to step away from the corporate career and become a full-time, stay-at-home mom. It was a difficult decision, but one I’ve never regretted.

Originally from Poland, I moved to the US in 1999 to learn English and experience life in a new culture. Over the years, my language skills grew and so did my career. In 2021, I held a role as an executive assistant to the CEO and EVP of a nonprofit organization. I thrived there—personally and professionally—and felt truly seen and valued. That experience reawakened the courageous and confident person sleeping and hiding in me…

Leaving that job was heartbreaking—but necessary. My youngest son lives with cerebral palsy and needs daily support. Once I left the working world, a quiet idea began forming: Maybe I should tell my story?

It took time. It wasn’t until January 2023 that I truly began writing—and I haven’t stopped since. My first book was published in October 2025 and this creative journey has completely transformed me. Writing is no longer just an idea. It is part of who I am.

And this? This is just the beginning.

If any part of my story speaks to you, I would love for you to follow along.
